QuantSpark joins the MCA

QuantSpark joins the MCA

The comedian Groucho Marx once famously declared that he didn’t want to be part of any club that would accept him as a member.

I don’t share his views. QuantSpark has just been admitted to the Management Consultancies Association and I couldn’t be more delighted. I am incredibly proud that we have been accepted for membership to such a well-regarded professional association.

As we scale up the business, being part of a bigger organisation than ourselves is immensely reassuring, and even comforting, in these challenging times.

It also feels like an important step to take right now. The Management Consultancies Association (MCA) is the representative body for management consultancy firms in the UK and membership of the MCA offers all the usual benefits of networking, events, awards and accreditation. But more than that, it provides us with a very real sense of belonging.

At QuantSpark we are pioneering the strategic application of data science and advanced analytics to transform decision-making. We create meaningful insight from complex data and use this to build analytical tools that solve strategic problems. Our interdisciplinary teams combine the best of strategy consultancy, computer science, data analysis, product development, and industry expertise, and together we deliver high-impact analysis and build mission-critical tools to support making smarter decisions.

As the Covid-19 pandemic has illustrated, the consulting industry in the UK plays a vital part in supporting the public and private sector. We believe in the criticality of best practice consulting and very much want to be part of what the MCA espouses in terms of high standards.

As QuantSpark continues to grow, we see it as an important part of our role as a company and a brand to play an increasingly leading role in the development of our industry, and beyond that in the wider community and society. This feels like a really good first step to take on that journey.
